UPM Pharmaceuticals is pleased to announce that Pat Hatem will rejoin the company as Vice President of Manufacturing and Packaging, effective March 2nd.
A Proven Leader Returns
Pat previously served as UPM's VP of Manufacturing before 2019, where he was instrumental in establishing and developing our early manufacturing operations. His return represents a significant milestone as the company prepares for its next chapter of growth.
Bringing Expanded Expertise
Since leaving UPM, Pat has built an impressive track record in pharmaceutical operations leadership. Most recently, he served as General Manager at Catalent Pharma Solutions' Greendale facility, where he successfully managed a team of more than 350 employees. His additional experience at Avara has further strengthened his expertise in scaling pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

Pat's unique perspective—combining deep institutional knowledge of UPM with high-volume operational leadership experience—makes him ideally suited to lead our manufacturing and packaging divisions forward. His understanding of our company's foundation, paired with insights gained from managing large-scale operations, will be invaluable as we expand our capabilities and pursue new opportunities.
Pat assumed responsibilities on March 2nd, leading both manufacturing and packaging divisions as the company continues to strengthen its position in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
