UPM PHARMACEUTICALS®, INC. PASSES DEA INSPECTION

Baltimore, MD, September 25, 2008 – UPM Pharmaceuticals®, Inc., announced today, that it recently underwent a 4-day unannounced DEA inspection of the company’s systems and procedures pertaining to the handling, usage, and security of Scheduled II-V controlled substances. DEA inspectors concluded that UPM is in full compliance with DEA regulations, with no observations or corrective actions noted.
