UPM PHARMACEUTICALS® INC. ENHANCEMENTS TO AUTOMATED PACKAGING LINE

Baltimore, MD, May 12, 2010 –As part of its commitment to quality and continuous improvement, UPM Pharmaceuticals® Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of several packaging line accessories.

 

The additions include a custom Model E-173 Accumulation Table, Sure Kap Model SK 600 Retorquer, Speck Teck Model STS-D120 Pouch Type Desiccant Placer, Meech Model 233V3 Pulsed Static Eliminator, and a Linx Model 4900 Ultima Diagraph Ink Jet Printer. In conjunction with these upgrades, UPM has also purchased a Roser 6-inch Label Counter/Rewind System. Michael Chamberlain, Director of Manufacturing for UPM made the following comment upon completion of the system validation, “The decision to upgrade the packaging line was based on our evaluation of our Clients’ packaging needs now and in the near future.
