UPM PHARMACEUTICALS®, INC. UPGRADES DOCUMENTUM COMPLIANCE MANAGER TO VERSION 6.5
Baltimore, MD, May 14th 2010 - As part of continued efforts to provide clients with quality and responsive service, UPM Pharmaceuticals®, Inc. is pleased to announce an upgrade of its Electronic Document Management System (EDMS): Documentum Compliance Manager (DCM).
UPM launched the latest version of Documentum (Document Compliance Manager) Version 6.5 which utilizes a new, simplified platform to collaborate, share, and maintain/archive controlled documents in a web-based environment while maintaining compliance with 21CFR Part 11 directives. “The latest version will provide a faster, more reliable document management system for UPM and its clients”, states Ted McCarthy, Executive Director, Quality Assurance. DCM has and will continue to assist UPM Pharmaceuticals®, Inc. in sharing documents with clients electronically in compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and internal policies, while continuing to meet product and service quality standards. The EDMS manages and tracks electronic documents through the document’s lifecycles including creation, approval, distribution, new version replacement, and retirement. Audit trails and signatures are maintained to comply with applicable regulations.
